Landscape Lighting Installation

    We walk the property after dark to see what is worth lighting and where glare would be a problem.

    Design the lighting plan

    Fixture types, placements and techniques are mapped to your home's architecture and landscape.

    Install transformer and run cable

    The transformer is mounted and direct-burial cable is trenched along the fixture runs.

    Set and aim fixtures

    Each fixture is positioned and aimed individually — aiming is what separates a designed system from a generic one.

    Program controls

    Timers or photocells are set so the system runs on its own year-round.

    Night walkthrough and adjustment

Frequently Asked Questions

What is moonlighting?
Fixtures are mounted high in a tree and aimed downward so light filters through the branches, casting natural dappled shadows on the ground below. It is one of the most natural-looking techniques available.
Is landscape lighting expensive to run?
No. Modern low-voltage LED systems draw very little power, and timers or photocells ensure they only run when needed.
Will the wiring be visible?
No. Direct-burial cable is trenched below grade along the fixture runs.
Can lighting be added to an existing landscape?
Yes. Most installations go into established landscapes with minimal disturbance to beds and lawn.
